Choosing bridesmaid dresses can feel like one of the trickiest parts of wedding planning. You're trying to find dresses that flatter different body types, fit a variety of budgets, coordinate with your wedding vision and—hopefully—keep everyone happy.

One of my favorite things about Styled is the sheer number of options we’re able to offer our brides.

Whether your wedding vision is timeless and classic, romantic and feminine, or modern and fashion-forward, you'll have plenty to choose from. We proudly offer one of the largest bridesmaid dress collections in the Capital Region, with styles ranging from approximately $179 to $400.

Our designers include Jenny Yoo, Amsale, Dessy, Lula Kate and Elliatt, giving you hundreds of options in different silhouettes, fabrics and colors.

Our samples range from approximately sizes 0–30, because we know how important it is for bridesmaids to actually be able to try dresses on and get a realistic idea of how a style will look and feel.

And sometimes the dress you love on the hanger isn't the one you love on your body—or vice versa! That's exactly why we think being able to try a variety of silhouettes in person is so helpful.

Matching or Mix-and-Match? We Can Help With Both.

Gone are the days when every bridesmaid necessarily wears the exact same dress.

We still love a classic, matching bridal party, but we also work with lots of brides who want a mix-and-match look—whether that means different necklines in the same fabric and color, varying shades within one color palette, or a combination of fabrics and silhouettes.

This is an area where having a stylist can be especially helpful.

We can pull different combinations, lay colors and fabrics next to each other, and help you figure out how to create a bridal party that feels cohesive without feeling overly matched.

A Personalized Shopping Experience

Every bridesmaid appointment at Styled is by appointment, so your group has dedicated time with one of our experienced stylists.

We start by sitting down with you to learn a little about your wedding—your venue, season, colors, overall style and, of course, what you're envisioning for your bridesmaids.

Then we'll start pulling dresses.

Appointments last about 75 minutes, giving you plenty of time to explore different styles, compare colors and fabrics, and narrow down your favorites. We'll clip gowns to help give a better idea of fit, make suggestions based on what your group is loving (or definitely not loving!), answer your questions and guide you through the ordering process.

Why Shop for Bridesmaid Dresses in Person?

There are certainly plenty of places to order bridesmaid dresses online, but there are some things a computer screen just can't tell you.

Colors can look completely different in person. Fabrics drape differently depending on the silhouette. A neckline someone was convinced wouldn't work for her may end up being her favorite.

Shopping in person also gives you the chance to compare dresses side by side rather than trying to imagine how five different online photos will look standing next to one another on your wedding day.

And, maybe most importantly, you have someone there to help you navigate all of it.

We'll talk through sizing, timelines, colors, ordering and alterations so you're not left trying to figure everything out on your own.

Ordering Your Dresses

Because most bridesmaid dresses are made to order, we recommend shopping at least six months before your wedding.

Most gowns take approximately two to four months to arrive, and we always want to leave enough time for alterations before the big day. Shopping early also gives you a little breathing room—which is something we always recommend when it comes to wedding planning!

Once everyone has chosen their dress, we'll help each bridesmaid determine her size based on the designer's size chart.

To ensure every dress is cut from the same dye lot for the best possible color match, we wait until every bridesmaid has submitted payment before placing the group's order together.

We'll keep you informed throughout the process and let each bridesmaid know when her dress arrives.

Have Out-of-Town Bridesmaids? No Problem.

It's rare these days for an entire bridal party to live in the same place, so we've made it easy for out-of-town bridesmaids to be part of an order.

Your local bridesmaids can shop with you at Styled while anyone living farther away can be professionally measured near home and place her order remotely.

Once her dress arrives, we can even ship it directly to her.

So if your best friend lives in Boston, your sister is in Florida and your college roommate is across the country, they can still be part of your Styled bridal party.
