At Styled By Lily Saratoga, we offer a curated collection of formal dresses in our Saratoga Springs, NY boutique, including floor-length gowns, tea-length styles, and chic short dresses for weddings, galas, cocktail parties, and special events. Our collection features a variety of silhouettes, colors, and designers to help you find a look that feels uniquely you.
Appointments are required. During your appointment, you'll work one-on-one with a dedicated stylist who will guide you through our collection and help you discover the styles that best suit your event, preferences, and personal style. Yes! Our space is limited, as is the number of consultants. All customers must have appointments.

Our formal wear appointments are scheduled for an hour. You will have a dedicated consultant for the duration of your appointment to assist with selecting and clipping dresses, as well as to answer any questions you may have an take measurements when necessary.

Most of our sample formal dresses range in sizes 4-18. Select styles are available in 20-28. Our Sorella Vita, Jenny Yoo, & Amsale dresses are sampled in sizes 4-28. We work carefully with each customer to select the best dress size for them based on measurements and the specific designer's size chart.

Samples range in size and color -- typically we have one size and color in each of our styles. Your Stylist will show swatches of available colors and can take measurements to find your suggested size. Feel free to inquire if there are specific dresses you are interested in!

Bridesmaid dresses must be paid in full. Once we place an order with the designer, we are not able to change or cancel the order.

Each designer has a different lead time, but we recommend placing formal wear orders 2-6 months before the date of the event (2-5 months for production, 1 month for alterations). We do have off the rack or quick-ship options available for those with tighter turn-around time frames.

Alterations are to be expected. We do not have an in-house alterations specialist, but can provide a list of recommended tailors in the area. If you are from out-of-town, we recommend that they source a seamstress who specializes in bridal or formal wear.
